RACH & the Hollywood Sound
Francesco Lecce-Chong, conductor
Adelle-Akiko Kearns, cello
Andrew Harrison, saxophone
This season marks the stunning conclusion to this four-year series. Featuring music from the films The Magnificent Seven, Catch Me if You Can and Deception – notably, the last showcasing SRS Principal Cellist Adelle-Akiko Kearns. An audience favorite, Rachmaninoff’s final orchestral work, Symphonic Dances, is a tour de force with a kaleidoscope of emotions that ends with a feeling of gratitude.
