Artist Residency Activities in our Communities

The Green Music Center is dedicated to providing access to diverse artistic experiences, and connecting artists with various communities throughout the North Bay.  Artists participate in activities such as pre- and post-concert discussions, visits to schools and community organizations, and workshops with community members at the Green Music Center. Activities are designed to develop creative capacities, critical thinking skills, and encourage participants to investigate communal and personal values while building empathy for the experiences of others.

The Green Music Center is committed to providing communities of all ages with access to compelling artists, diverse ideas, and experiences. To accomplish this, the Green Music Center collaborates with partners to bring artists to K-12 schools for workshops with students, and to offer complimentary tickets to students in surrounding communities for select concerts as part of our Music Access Partnership program.
