HEALTH & SAFETY AT THE GREEN

Updated on 7/26/21

Please do not attend an event if you are experiencing any unexplained, COVID-related symptoms as listed here on the CDC website or if you have had recent close contact with an individual who is confirmed as having COVID-19.

Outdoors on Weill Lawn (like at movies and table/lawn seats for Bluegrass Day)

  • Masks are required for all unvaccinated audience members.
  • We encourage mask wearing by everyone in areas where it is hard to maintain distance from others such as the entry lines and in bathrooms.
  • If you are vaccinated and still more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so.
  • Green Music Center staff who are working at the event will wear masks.

Indoor concert seats (like pianoSonoma concerts in Schroeder Hall and indoor seating for Weill Hall performances)

  • Each audience member acknowledges that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or that they have tested negative for COVID-19. (If you are not fully vaccinated, please bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event.)
  • Masks are required when indoors for everyone.
  • Masks are always required for unvaccinated audience members.

Distance

  • Please maintain 6 feet of physical distance from other groups whenever possible.

General Information

We are excited to return to live events that are fun, healthy, and safe! Procedures are in place that follow current public health guidance and performing arts industry standards. Depending on conditions at the time of the performance, you may need to wear a mask, or present a digital or paper copy of proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event to access indoor seating areas of the venue. These are some of our safety procedures:

  • There is ample outside space for audiences at Summer at the Green. We are emphasizing the use of the outdoors where air flow is very strong.
  • Our indoor air handling systems are equipped with MERV-14 filters that exceed CDC standards. Seats inside Weill Hall benefit from the fact that the back wall
will be open to the outdoors.
  • We are performing enhanced cleaning of all spaces prior to and during events.
  • Hand washing areas and sanitizer are available.
  • We encourage you to get vaccinated!

This page will be updated regularly to reflect current practices.

Food and drink concessions are limited at first and we plan to increase the available options over the course of the Summer. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages and eat outside.
