FOR THE GREEN MUSIC CENTER’S WINE PARTNER, Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards, it is much more than exposure and marketing that entices them to support our work. It is that we are Sonoma State University’s presenter dedicated to the arts and education on campus and throughout the region.
Corporate support is critical for us to bring incredible performers from all over the world to Sonoma County, many of whom lead activities such as lectures, masterclasses, demonstrations, and workshops for partnering organizations and university departments. These types of experiences encourage conversations about the big issues of our day, develop the creative capacities of those who engage, and create empathy for cultural differences. And they are a focus of the Green Music Center’s mission. “Sonoma-Cutrer is intentional when we decide to partner with the Green Music Center,” said Mark Elcombe, homeplace manager at the winery. “The partnership is terrific brand alignment – we both provide quintessential Sonoma County experiences. I’ve seen so many fine artists in Weill and Schroeder Halls, and I’m excited that artists are getting out into the community. The Green Music Center is having such a positive impact in our region. There is no better venue to enjoy great performances in Sonoma County!”
“We love our partnership with Sonoma-Cutrer,” says Marge Limbert, Green Music Center’s director of development. “They are always looking for ways to bring Sonoma-Cutrer’s wine club and our donors together. Sonoma-Cutrer really cares about the arts and is passionate about supporting education and giving back to our community.”
