Daughter of music aficionados, Gaëlle Solal discovered the classical guitar at the age of five. From her early days at the Marseille Conservatoire to the Paris Conservatoire, Gaëlle’s artistry has captivated hearts in over forty countries with her passionate and soulful playing.

She became the first French female musician to win the City of Alessandria Competition as well as winning second prize in the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America’s International Competition.
