The Donald and Maureen Green Music Center at Sonoma State University
is destined to become one of the most sought-after music and arts venues in the world. Featuring an acoustically-superb concert hall, it will draw both master and student musicians, and audiences eager to experience their performances, surrounded by the natural beauty of northern California's hills and vineyards.

The center, a public/private partnership, is currently being built and will be ready for audiences and students in the next few years. The concert hall and Schroeder's Recital Hall are under construction. The hospitality center opens this spring and Music Education Hall opened in September 2008. Be sure to visit the construction link above to get a glimpse of what is happening at the site.

Education

Sonoma State University's Green Music Center is as much about learning as it is about performance. Master classes, lectures, performances by world-class musicians, dancers and vocalists will create unparalleled opportunities for students to learn first-hand and experience excellence for themselves.

Capital Campaign

The Green Music Center is a shared dream, a community vision. Its realization requires the help of many hands, hearts and minds. You can join the community of Green Music Center supporters through your contribution to the Capital Campaign.

Partners

A key partner with Sonoma State University in creating the Green Music Center, the Santa Rosa Symphony will make the concert hall its new home. For the first time, one of the finest regional symphonies in the country will enjoy the opportunity to perform in a venue whose acoustics enhance the brilliance of the orchestra and its music.
