Two-time Pulitzer Prize-Winning New York Times Columnist, Nicholas Kristof captivates audiences with his moving storytelling and incomparable insights into the events that shape our world. He’s lived on four continents, reported on six, and traveled to more than 150 countries. During his travels, he has caught malaria, experienced wars, confronted warlords, encountered an Indonesian mob carrying heads on pikes, and survived an African airplane crash. Kristof is an advocate for human rights and giving a voice to the voiceless. 

The H. Andréa Neves and Barton Evans Social Justice Lecture Series is sponsored by philanthropist and former SSU professor Andréa Neves and her late husband, Silicon Valley engineer and executive Barton Evans. It is co-hosted annually by the School of Education and School of Social Sciences.
