Joyce DiDonato

Joyce DiDonato

Joyce DiDonato has been called “the flame-toned American mezzo” by Britain’s Daily Telegraph and is among the world’s most charismatic performers. She was selected as Gramophone’s “Artist of the Year” in 2010. In 2012, she starred in the highly acclaimed Metropolitan Opera production of The Enchanted Island, which was broadcast live worldwide. Italian orchestra Il Complesso Barocco, led by first violinist Dmitry Sinkovsky, joins forces with DiDonato in their only West Coast appearance performing a selection of arias by Vivaldi, Monteverdi, Handel, Scarlatti, and other composers from the Italian baroque.
