Sonoma State University steps onto the world's musical stage on Sept 29, 2012 when internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang launches the Inaugural Season. Experience the first ever concert in the Green Music Center’s acoustically magnificent Weill Hall, or enjoy the concert from the terraced lawns outside while viewing the stage through the venue's unique south doors. This is one Sonoma night not to be missed!
Sunrise Choral Concert

An event every early-bird will enjoy! Watch the sunrise through the windows of Weill Hall while marveling in the vocal splendor of local choral ensembles and soloists. Tickets to this event will be free of charge; details on how to reserve your seat will be released later this year.
Orchestral Opening Concert

Santa Rosa Symphony
A talented trio of local legends – Bruno Ferrandis, Corrick Brown and Jeffrey Kahane — take the stage together for the very first time, as the Santa Rosa Symphony celebrates their new residency in Weill Hall. This festive afternoon of music-making will include works by Beethoven, Copland, and Ravel as well as the world premiere of a work by Petaluma composer Nolan Gasser. Well-known for their work on the Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack, this stellar fivesome – including guitarist Jerry Douglas — will entertain crowds in Weill Hall, Lawn and Commons.

On performance evenings (one hour prior to all concerts) the Green Music Center Box Office will be open - located on the first floor of the Music Education Hall, adjacent to the courtyard of Weill Hall.
