Vadim Repin

Born in Siberia, Vadim Repin started to play violin at the age of five, and six months later, he had his first stage performance. At only eleven, he won the gold medal in all age categories in his first violin solo competition. Since then, his career has taken him all over the globe as a recitalist, chamber musician, and guest artist with the world’s leading orchestras. He is known for his astonishing ability to draw a rich palette of sound from his instrument, together with his dazzling technique. For his Green Music Center debut, he will perform sonatas by Janáček, Brahms, and Grieg.
