This year's composer residency from April 4–7 features Pulsoptional, the "band of composers" co-founded by composition professor Thom Limbert in Durham, NC. Since its inception in January of 2000, Pulsoptional has developed a diverse, devoted audience and continues to attract listeners new to contemporary music with its boundary/genre-defying, high-energy concerts.
