Audra McDonald

Audra McDonald

The new year begins with a jazz-inspired evening of showtunes, movie classics, and original pieces by Broadway legend Audra McDonald, whose indomitable voice and infectious character has garnered her an amazing five Tony Awards.

Audra McDonald made her Broadway debut in 1992, and after the success of Ragtime in 1998, she became the first person under the age of thirty to receive three Tony Awards. In 2013, she released her first solo album in seven years - Go Back Home - and starred as Mother Abess in NBC's The Sound of Music Live!
